Exciting news for Xbox Series or One users - soon they will have the ability to watch live game streams from their Discord friends. Initially available to Xbox Insiders users, this feature will later be rolled out to all users. In addition to watching streams, Xbox users will also have the option to call other Discord users directly from their console.
Xbox users will be able to view Discord streams from other Xbox users, as well as PC or smartphone users. The stream will open in full screen, providing an immersive viewing experience.
Discord, a platform that has supported screen sharing for a number of years, will now also display Discord information in the Xbox Friends overview, showing if users are currently in a Discord voice chat.
